Responsibilities

GENERAL PURPOSE: Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. FT position available, M-F Daytime hours. Exciting opportunity to become a collaborating team member with the University of Rochester Sleep Center. Duties include triage of patient calls/messages, assisting patients to maintain compliance with CPAP therapy, facilitating patient care, documentation within the medical record, and supporting patient flow throughout the clinic. Candidate must be able to collaborate with team members, be patient centered and possess a team approach to quality medical care. Outpatient experience preferred. The Sleep Center is a growing clinic with opportunities for advancement within this role.
