Awarded to the University in 2012 to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and held since then by Professor Keith Shine FRS, this professorship represents a unique opportunity to lead in a discipline that is critical to our planet’s future.

You will be widely recognised as a world-leading expert in one or more areas of weather and climate science, with a passion for advancing knowledge and influencing policy in response to the climate emergency.
