An exciting opportunity to apply your excellent analytical skills as Energy Analyst in our award-winning Sustainability team in Estates to help manage, monitor and deliver sustained reductions in our energy use, costs and carbon emissions across our operations.
Your previous energy experience will see you leading on the monitoring and reporting of our utilities consumption and carbon footprint, taking an integral role in energy, carbon and travel initiatives to monitor and verify the savings delivered. The post will work closely with the wider Sustainability team on the delivery of University-wide initiatives to support the ongoing progress towards the University’s ambitious sustainability goals.
You will have:
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and graphical presentation skills
- Previous experience in either an analytical or an energy-related role
- Experience of effectively presenting complex data to a range of audiences
- Experience of energy management techniques for monitoring, measurement and verification
- Knowledge of energy legislation relevant to the public sector
