As People Development Advisor you will be an integral part of learning and development for colleagues across the university, supporting a wide range of training opportunities including leadership & management, personal & professional skills, coaching & mentoring and researcher development.

As the successful candidate, you will have :

  • Excellent facilitation skills and be experienced in the delivery of training to senior management audiences.
  • Skills in creativity and innovation in the development and delivery of a variety of inclusive blended learning solutions, that enhance performance in managers and staff.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with managers and staff that facilitate effective development needs analysis and diagnosis.
  • The ability to plan, organise and work to deadlines as well as effective project management skills. Demonstrating a clear focus on purpose, outputs and impact.
  • Knowledge and techniques that evaluate and embed learning into the workplace.
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues to middle management level.
  • A successful track record in the delivery of customer focused development activity, which responds to development needs and feedback and is tailored accordingly.
