The Connectivity Team within Digital Technology Services (DTS) oversee the delivery and management of all secure, reliable and scalable network solutions across the campus infrastructure forming the foundation for all IT services across the University.
We are looking for a Network Engineer to join the team and help support the current infrastructure and assist in the delivery of our new network based on Juniper\βs IP-CLOS topology underpinned by Juniper Mist AI. Working with modern technology at an enterprise scale, this is a rare opportunity to learn and make a difference to the customers of the network
You must have the following to be considered for the role:
- Experience of working with network equipment at the edge, distribution and core.
- Associate Level certification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) products
- Experience of working with enterprise Wi-Fi
In addition, you should be able to:
- Demonstrate good working practices in a technical support environment.
- Experience of working within IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL
You will have :
- Solid experience of working with enterprise networks
- Associate Level certification or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of wireless networks and RF fundamentals
- Able to work on-site
