The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This is a great opportunity to join the leadership team of the FoodBioSystems DTP, a doctoral training partnership that is funded by BBSRC and led by the University of Reading. FoodBioSystems DTP is a vibrant and diverse community of doctoral researchers and their supervisors. We are currently training over 100 PhD students across seven partner universities.

You will be based in Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences, University of Reading, and will support DTP administrative management including taking a lead on day-to-day financial management and student monitoring. You will also work with colleagues to plan and deliver some student training and stakeholder engagement activities, taking the lead on some events.

You will:

  • Be highly organised with the ability to initiate work, balance competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Have strong finance and numeracy skills and experience of financial administration/management
  • Have the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of academic, professional services staff, and postgraduate students as well as a range of external stakeholders.
