Job information Apprentice Maintenance General Builder from the Company University of Reading, located in Reading, United Kingdom.
We are seeking an Apprentice Maintenance General Builder to join the Campus Operations team. You will learn to carry out basic reactive and planned maintenance tasks across several trades.
The role holder will assist in providing an effective, prompt, customer-focused service to the University, according to its requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLA\βs).
You will complete a 2-year, 6-month training program covering all aspects of the role, leading to a Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship (Level 2).
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE standard (Maths and English Grade 4 or above) or equivalent.
- Experience with IT (e.g., Microsoft Office) and Smart devices (e.g., iPad).
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately via phone, email, and in person.
- Aptitude for skills taught in the Apprenticeship.
- Full, valid, clean driving licence.
