We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people‑focused individual to support the coordination of the University’s Student Ambassador Scheme. Our student ambassadors play a vital role in our marketing, recruitment and outreach activity. They inspire future students and give them a genuine insight into student life at the University of Portsmouth.
Responsibilities
- Help keep the scheme running effectively day to day, ensuring processes stay on track, communications are clear and records are accurate.
- Support the Student Ambassador Officer with the recruitment, training and onboarding of new ambassadors.
- Assist with scheduling ambassadors for a wide range of events and activities.
- Build positive working relationships with staff and students through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Details
- Working pattern: 22.2 hours per week, spread across either 4 or 5 days.
- Hybrid working: there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week; hybrid working is available.
- DBS check: enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required for this post.
