We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Service Delivery Specialist (AV) to play a key role in delivering high-quality AV and IT services across the University. Working within our Service Delivery team, you will work closely with our Estates Department to lead AV input into building and refurbishment projects, ensuring new and upgraded spaces are equipped with the latest, most effective and future-ready AV technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead AV input into building and refurbishment projects; specify, design and implement advanced AV solutions for teaching, learning and collaboration spaces, influencing projects from early design through to delivery.
- Collaborate with Estates colleagues, academic and professional services teams, and external partners to ensure AV solutions are fully aligned with user needs, institutional standards and best practice frameworks such as ITIL.
- Work on-site only; this appointment does not support hybrid working.
- Support and contribute to service delivery objectives, ensuring high-quality AV and IT services are delivered across the university.
- Participate in interview activities and timing as specified by the department (dates may be subject to change).
Qualifications / Experience
- Strong AV and IT experience with a track record of cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver modern, high-quality environments.
- Experience specifying, designing and implementing AV solutions for teaching, learning and collaboration spaces.
- Ability to work with Estates colleagues, academic and professional services teams, and external partners; familiarity with ITIL is desirable.
