The Faculty Medical/Dental Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of administrative processes for Medical and Dental regulated programmes across the Faculty, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and effective support for clinical education activities. The role includes line management of Medical and Dental programmes administrative staff, overseeing workloads, performance and development, and driving a high-quality, consistent service. The post holder will work closely with academic staff, professional services and external partners to ensure effective programme delivery, in line with PSRB requirements. They will also lead on process improvement and undertake project work aligned to Faculty priorities, supporting programme development, regulatory submissions and operational efficiency. Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role, and we would consider reduced hours for the right candidate.

New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
