Are you ready to take the next step in your web content and social media career? We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our Digital Content Team within the Marketing, Recruitment and Communications department. We’re looking for a Content Creator who’s enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about digital storytelling. In this 6 month fixed-term role, you’ll work collaboratively across departments to create content for our websites and social media channels for a range of audiences.

You’ll be working with the team to create high-performing content that enhances the University’s reputation, supports student recruitment, and highlights our strengths in student experience, teaching quality, research impact, and industry relevance.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and optimise engaging content across web and social channels
  • Produce high-quality content in multiple formats (video, graphics, copy)
  • Use data and insight to improve performance and content planning
  • Support community management, monitoring and responses
  • Contribute to campaigns and key events (e.g. Open Days, Graduation, Clearing)
  • Collaborate across teams and support wider content best practice

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong content creation skills across digital channels
  • Ability to tailor content to different audiences and platforms
  • Understanding of SEO, AI optimisation, and accessibility
  • Confident using data to inform decisions and improve performance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Awareness of digital trends and audience behaviours

The interviews are currently anticipated to be held week commencing 13 July 2026. This appointment is a fixed-term contract for 6 months.
