To provide high-quality, safe, and effective urgent dental care to patients presenting with acute dental problems, including pain, infection, trauma, and swelling. The role focuses on immediate treatment and stabilisation rather than routine or ongoing care. The post holder will provide clinical teaching for students across all the dental programmes attached to the unscheduled care service on occasion and undertake clinical administrative duties as appropriate.
This position is working on-site only, so we are unable to support hybrid working for this appointment.
This appointment is a 0.8 FTE fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Salary Information:
New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
