We are offering a 6‑month fixed‑term role as a Content Creator in the Digital Content Team within the Marketing, Recruitment and Communications department. The role requires you to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, but hybrid working is available. You will collaborate across departments to create content for our websites and social media channels that enhances the University’s reputation, supports student recruitment and highlights our strengths in student experience, teaching quality, research impact, and industry relevance.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and optimise engaging content across web and social channels
  • Produce high‑quality content in multiple formats (video, graphics, copy)
  • Use data and insight to improve performance and content planning
  • Support community management, monitoring and responses
  • Contribute to campaigns and key events (Open Days, Graduation, Clearing)
  • Collaborate across teams and support wider content best practice

Salary Information: New appointments will be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade. Salaries progress to the maximum in a reasonable timeframe, with annual cost‑of‑living increases. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for an exceptional candidate.
