The Business Change Manager is responsible for supporting the adoption of changes and business improvements required by all IT enabled projects or initiatives. This role involves:
- Leading the alignment of resources in planning, implementing and assessing change across change programmes being undertaken across the University.
- Being the recognised Business Change authority, ensuring that effective change management is introduced to the University in a structured and planned manner.
- Designing, implementing and governing the overarching change management and benefits management methodologies that shape and influence changes to organisational culture.
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 14/01/2028.

New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
