The Role:
As the Faculty Recruitment Officer, you will play an integral role in implementing the Faculty\’s schools and colleges recruitment and outreach activities and strategy while supporting the Faculty and its academic departments.
Reporting to the Faculty Marketing Manager, your responsibilities include coordinating schools and colleges visits, attendance at UCAS and other recruitment fairs, representing the faculty and university and attendance at other events so as to raise the profile of the university for its external audience. The role holder will be expected to work with the central schools and colleges team to ensure a joined-up approach to the university’s outreach and recruitment strategy.
The postholder will identify opportunities and innovative solutions that will assist the faculty and University to reach its targets in relation to UK undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment and support the organisation and delivery of recruitment initiatives, events and talks delivered virtually and in person (on and off campus) for students, parents, teachers and advisers in target schools and colleges.
Working closely with the Faculty and wider Marketing teams, you will help drive marketing and communications efforts across the university.
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. The interview date is anticipated to be held on 04 September 2025. An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this post.
