The Administrator will provide comprehensive, high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Deputy Director of Estates and Campus Services and the Strategic Maintenance & Soft Services Manager at the University of Portsmouth. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of both strategic and operational activities within the Estates Department, with a particular emphasis on maintenance administration.
The post holder will coordinate and maintain accurate maintenance records, support compliance documentation, and assist in the preparation of reports and briefing materials. They will organise and service meetings, including preparing agendas, collating papers, and producing accurate and timely minutes, ensuring that actions are recorded and followed up as required.
The Administrator will liaise professionally with staff, contractors, and other stakeholders, manage correspondence, maintain databases, and provide logistical and administrative support for departmental projects. The role contributes directly to the efficient delivery of estate services and the maintenance of a safe, high-quality campus environment in line with the University’s strategic objectives.
This position is working on-site only, so we are unable to support hybrid working for this appointment.
