Requirements
- Experience in technical cyber security or information security engineering, with practical delivery of improvements
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and cloud security controls
- Experience maintaining log ingestion pipelines and improving alert fidelity
- Ability to support incident response as a technical subject matter expert
- Experience working across hybrid infrastructure and integrating security systems effectively
- Ability to proactively monitor the health and optimisation of security tooling
- Right to work in the UK, or the ability to obtain it
Responsibilities
- Design, improve, and maintain our technical cyber security and information security defenses
- Ensure the health, optimisation, and continuous improvement of our cyber security tooling
- Maintain and improve SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and cloud security controls
- Maintain log ingestion pipelines and improve alert fidelity
- Ensure our security systems are effectively integrated across our hybrid infrastructure
- Support incident response by identifying, containing, and remediating threats
- Contribute to lessons learned and measurable service improvements
- Work closely with colleagues across Information Services to support operational needs while maintaining strong protection
- Deliver operational improvements aligned to our Cyber Security Roadmap and Cyber Security Strategy
- Strengthen cyber resilience across our services through practical engineering and proactive monitoring
