The Role: To oversee the execution and delivery of the Information Services (IS) Strategic Programmes, a rolling programme of strategic, technology, and business change initiatives that will drive efficiency and enhance user experience in all areas of the University, delivering value to our students, staff, and academics. Working with the Programme Board to deliver the Strategic Programmes, the programme manager engages collaboratively with faculty and professional services management teams, and other key stakeholders across the University, and plays a key influencing and delivery role as part of the Digital Delivery team.
The Programme Manager will produce accurate and achievable plans to ensure the programme is delivered and meets the required success criteria. The Programme Manager will be responsible for coaching Project Managers within the wider team. These programmes will deliver significant business benefits to enable the University’s Strategy 2020-2030, through multi-million investments.

Salary Information: New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
