The Role: Are you an AV professional who’s excited to make a real difference for students? Join us in shaping the future of AV and digital learning across the University. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in delivering innovative AV technologies and services that enhance teaching, collaboration and the overall student experience.

You will lead the planning and delivery of major AV refresh and installation programmes across teaching spaces, meeting rooms and collaborative environments, while supporting high-profile capital and digital transformation projects. As part of our ambitious technology roadmap, we are transitioning to fully LED-based display solutions and transforming our lecture theatres with the latest high-tech video wall technology, creating cutting-edge learning environments across the campus.

Working closely with stakeholders and technology partners, you will help drive service excellence, continuous improvement and innovation across the University. The role also offers the opportunity to influence AV standards, support service development initiatives, deliver user training, and contribute to wider IT and University projects in a fast-paced and forward-thinking environment.

We are looking for a customer-focused AV professional with excellent communication skills, strong technical expertise, and a passion for delivering outstanding user experiences through technology. The successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills and experience working within a strong customer focused AV environment.

This position is working on-site only, so we are unable to support hybrid working for this appointment. A small amount of flexibility may be available on discussion with local management. The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 16 June 2026.

Salary Information: New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
