The Role: Reporting to the Deputy Director Capital & Property, the post holder will be expected to lead and manage the delivery of new build, redevelopment and refurbishment, managing consultant teams, internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Universitys property portfolio is delivered in accordance with the Universitys Masterplan vision and thus meeting the strategic objectives of the University to enhance the student experience and maintain levels of recruitment and retention of student numbers. The post holder will work closely with others to manage the relationship and meet the needs of stakeholders, neighbours and end users, from inception to completion, taking responsibility for brief development, design, procurement, mobilisation, construction and handover into occupation; to agreed specifications, achieving time, cost, quality. Communication with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally is paramount to the successful delivery of the schemes. Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 03 October 2025.
