The Role: The University is replacing its Finance system with a new ERP platform. The Systems Configuration Manager exists to translate the process designs, data requirements and business rules defined by the six Business Process Owners (BPOs) into a working, integrated system configuration. The post holder will coordinate configuration across all functional areas, working closely with the ERP Finance Systems Accountant for governance and oversight, the ERP Finance Systems Lead for technical guidance, the Systems Integrator and the wider ERP programme team. They will also oversee and coordinate data migration, user acceptance testing and training across the end-to-end ERP Finance system.

The working pattern for this post is full time; however, we may be able to consider offering reduced hours, whilst balancing the needs of the project for the right candidate. Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. The interviews are currently anticipated to be held between 05 May 2026 and 15 May 2026. This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 29 October 2027.
