The Centre for Continuing Professional Development (CCPD) is recruiting an Administrator to cover a period of maternity leave.
The Role:
- To ensure the effective provision of the CCPD, supporting the development and delivery of short courses, including Pre-sessional English and English for Specific Purposes.
- The role entails working with a core team to deliver excellent service and value to students and stakeholders.
- Some travel will be required, escorting students on external activities and trips within the UK.
- The post holder will contribute to the timely and efficient provision of services while maintaining standardised processes and practices in accordance with operational needs.
- The successful candidate will also participate in key University activities, including Registration, Graduation, and Confirmation and Clearing.
- Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on the 28 April 2026. This is a fixed term contract until 02 April 2027 (or the earlier return of the substantive post holder) to cover a period of maternity leave. For internal candidates it may be possible to apply for this role under the Secondment Policy.
