The Environmental Sustainability team drives the University\'s commitment to achieving net zero carbon and biodiversity net gain by 2035. Working collaboratively across departments and with external partners, we develop policies, deliver projects, and engage stakeholders to embed environmental responsibility into every aspect of University operations.

About the Role
You will lead the design and delivery of sustainability interventions across our supply chain, with a particular focus on Scope 3 carbon emissions and biodiversity impact. Working closely with the Head of Environment, Biodiversity Manager, Procurement colleagues and higher education networks, you will identify opportunities to improve environmental performance, pilot innovative solutions, and embed best practice into procurement policies and contracts.
Your work will involve building relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and external networks to share knowledge, influence change, and achieve measurable environmental benefits. You will also improve how we track and report environmental impacts, ensuring decisions are informed by accurate and meaningful data.
