As Senior Programme Manager, Academic Pillar, you lead the Refugee-Led Research Hub’s Academic portfolio and oversee a team across locations. You will shape strategy to scale access to master’s programmes for 1,000 refugee and displacement-affected learners by 2028, building robust systems for delivery at scale. You’ll collaborate with a cross‑functional team within ODID and RLRH to drive impact and ensure high-quality programme design and execution. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to advance education access in development debates.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop the Academic Pillar and its portfolio
- Lead scaling efforts and strategic development for academic access at scale
- Manage a team of 8+ across multiple locations
- Drive programme design, planning, resource management and performance oversight
- Work to achieve the target of 1,000 learners enrolling in master’s degrees by 2028
- Ensure systems and structures enable effective delivery of programmes
Key requirements
- Postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience delivering organisational strategy through programme design, planning, resource management, and performance oversight
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and take accountability within specialist programme areas
- Experience leading and developing teams across diverse locations
- Strong alignment with inclusive, ethical and evidence-based practice
