Overview
In this role you will support the University’s strategic planning and coordinate planning activity across the university.
You will act as Secretary to key committees and help implement the Strategic Plan through performance reporting and planning rounds.
You will work with senior colleagues across UAS on strategic, financial and digital planning initiatives, delivering planning improvement projects with independence and collaboration.
This is an opportunity to influence institutional decision‑making and gain a broad view of the university’s priorities and direction.
You will engage with cross‑functional teams to drive coherent planning and policy analysis.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the annual planning round for academic divisions and central services
- Support implementation of the Strategic Plan including performance reporting
- Coordinate planning across University Administration and Services (UAS)
- Act as Secretary to key University committees
- Provide high‑quality analysis, advice and coordination on strategic and policy issues
- Lead and deliver planning improvement projects and initiatives
- Collaborate with senior colleagues across the University
- Work independently while engaging with colleagues from across the University

- Degree or equivalent experience
- Very strong intellectual and analytical skills
- Expert understanding and demonstrable experience of strategic and organisational planning in a complex organisation
- Ability to collate complex inputs from across disciplines and produce coherent analysis and narrative
