We are looking for a team player to join the Sports Department team as a Senior Lifeguard/Sports Assistant working throughout the entire sports complex at our Iffley Road site. As a member of operational staff, you will provide full support to the Management Team and support the day‑to‑day operation, along with acting up as a Duty Manager when required. The post is full‑time working an average of 36.5 hours per week (excluding breaks) on a well-balanced 2‑week shift rota which includes just three set days during the week and short Saturday and Sunday shifts every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Support the Management Team and day‑to‑day operation of the sports complex.
- Act as a Duty Manager when required.
- Maintain and supervise pool operations.
Qualifications
- Hold an RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- First Aid at Work and Pool Plant Operator qualifications would be ideal, but training for these can be provided.
- Subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
