Overview
Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking to appoint a highly competent administrator to join our team providing support for the student lifecycle on our undergraduate-level courses from end-to-end. This includes dealing with enquiries, enrolment, on-course administration and post-course enquiries. In this wide-ranging, challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for supporting students and academic staff, developing expertise in University and departmental processes, preparing course materials, handling student data and assisting with financial administration.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the student lifecycle on undergraduate-level courses from enquiry to post-course enquiry
- Respond to enquiries and support enrolment, on-course administration and post-course enquiries
- Support students and academic staff, developing expertise in University and departmental processes
- Prepare course materials, handle student data and assist with financial administration
- Adapt to flexible deadlines and demonstrate sound judgement in solving problems
Qualifications
- Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexibly to deadlines
- Confidence in working with data and Excel
- Sound judgement in problem solving
- Experience of financial processes and virtual learning environments would be an advantage
