Fixed-term contract for 1 year, ending no later than 1 November 2026.

We are pleased to offer a Research Associate position at the University of Oxford, supervised by Professor Ronald Clark. The successful candidate will join the Perceptual Intelligence and Extended Reality Lab (PIXL) to work on an ARIA-funded project at the intersection of Computer Vision and Climate Science.

This project involves developing a new approach to estimate a dynamic, four-dimensional digital twin of the atmosphere, using ground-based stereo cameras and sensors. The post-holder will contribute throughout the research lifecycle, from dataset curation to designing innovative computer vision models. Flexible working arrangements are available; this position is based at the Department of Computer Science, requiring on-site work, with remote work possible upon agreement with the PI.
