The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Reporting to the Professor Thomas Povey. The post holder is a member of high-speed turbomachinery research group with responsibility for designing, planning, and executing a large test programme related to nozzle guide vane repair. The post-holder will also be responsible for analysis and reporting of data relating to aerothermal performance of nozzle guide vane parts, in particular metal effectiveness measurements and aerodynamic performance measurements.

You should hold a PhD in a field directly related to turbomachinery aerothermal performance in a relevant engineering discipline or demonstrate equivalent experience.

The position is a full-time fixed term post available for 2 years.
