Job Description:
The Department of Biochemistry at Oxford is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to study the organization of the malaria parasite cytoskeleton. The role involves multidisciplinary research including parasitology, structural biology, biochemistry, and cell biology, utilizing techniques such as single molecule fluorescence microscopy, CRISPR/Cas9, and cryo-electron microscopy. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team aiming to answer key biological questions about cytoskeletal proteins in disease-relevant organisms. Facilities include COSMIC and the Micron imaging centre. This is a full-time, fixed-term position funded by the Wellcome Trust for up to 3 years. Salary will depend on qualifications and skills.
