We are looking for an organised and proactive administrator to support the delivery of sustainability initiatives, coordinating audits, stakeholder engagement activities, communications, and events while helping to promote best practice in sustainable research. This is a part time role for 22.5 hours p/w.
Job Duties
- Coordinate and support the delivery of a laboratory sustainability accreditation programme, ensuring activities are completed within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate records, monitor participation, and track accreditation and audit outcomes.
- Organise and facilitate audits, providing guidance and feedback to support successful certification.
- Develop and update guidance, resources, and communications to promote engagement with sustainable research practices.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across a range of disciplines, providing support and encouraging participation.
- Support the delivery of events, workshops, and other engagement activities related to environmental sustainability initiatives.
Selection Criteria
- Highly organised and experienced with data management tools (Microsoft Excel, online platforms, etc.).
- Familiar with environmental sustainability frameworks and accreditation processes.
- Experience within a laboratory environment beneficial but not required.
