This is a senior role within the CRM team, that will lead the development, performance, and continuous improvement of the University's CRM platform, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. As the Product Owner for the CRM platform, you will be responsible for maximising the value delivered through the platform and associated products by determining product priorities, directing the platform roadmap, establishing product standards, and ensuring effective adoption of the platform as a core institutional service across the University. You will work closely with the CRM Director, the platform's technical leadership, Product Owners for the products developed on the CRM platform, and stakeholder groups to support the successful delivery of CRM-enabled services across divisions and colleges, and to ensure that the University's CRM delivers measurable organisational benefits aligned to University-wide priorities.

About You

You will play a pivotal role in shaping how the University leverages CRM as a strategic capability across divisions and colleges. To be successful in this role, you will

  • Be an experienced Product Owner or Product Manager with a proven track record in overseeing the strategic direction, adoption, and value realisation of a business-critical digital solution (ideally CRM) in a large, diverse organisation
  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across a complex, devolved organisation and influence senior decision-making
  • Be someone with a strategic mindset that has experience of owning and prioritising product roadmaps and backlogs, balancing limited resources, risks, and competing demands to maximise organisational value
  • Have a strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies, continuous service improvement, and product management practices
  • Be data-driven, using data and insights to inform decision-making, measure success, and drive continuous improvement
  • Be a proactive and collaborative leader, able to work effectively with stakeholders and technical and non-technical teams
