Centre for Human Genetics, Building for Genomic Medicine, Roosevelt Drive, Oxford, OX3 7BN
We are seeking a Research Assistant in Molecular and Cellular Biology to join the newly established Oxford experimental programme of the Ideker Lab at the Centre for Human Genetics. You will contribute to an ambitious research programme developing predictive models of cells using experimental measurements of protein organisation, genetic perturbations and dynamic cellular phenotypes.
Working with Dr Thomas Agbaedeng under the overall direction of Professor Trey Ideker, you will establish and maintain mammalian cell systems and support experimental workflows including endogenous protein tagging, CRISPR-based perturbation, optical pooled screening, live-cell imaging and proteomics.
