The University of Oxford is seeking a motivated and talented experimentalist for a full‑time Postdoctoral Research Assistant position in Quantum Thermodynamics within Professor Ares' research group at the Department of Engineering Science, Central Oxford.

This externally funded role is a fixed-term appointment for one year.

Candidates should possess a Ph D/DPhil in a relevant field and excel in developing new research projects.

Responsibilities include developing quantum devices, conducting cryogenic experiments, and designing experiments to investigate thermodynamic processes.
