Quantitative Research Officer (Post-doc), Young Lives in Oxford

This post is full-time and fixed term for two years with the potential to extend depending on further funding.

The successful candidate will hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD/DPhil in economics or another relevant quantitative social science discipline, with strong skills in quantitative child poverty research.

They will have excellent analytical and statistical skills, strong STATA skills, and experience in analyzing survey/panel data (preferably household surveys for developing countries).

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results, and represent Young Lives at meetings are essential to this role.

The Oxford Department of International Development is seeking to recruit a Quantitative Research Officer to work as part of the Young Lives research team, supporting the development of the Young Lives Round 8 survey and agreed research priorities.

The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with researchers and policy staff in Oxford and the four Young Lives study countries.
