The Oxford Department of International Development (ODID) seeks a Quantitative Research Assistant to work as part of the Young Lives research team. The role supports agreed research priorities and involves working collaboratively with researchers and policy staff in Oxford and the four Young Lives study countries.
Responsibilities
- Analyse quantitative data, employing advanced statistical modelling and econometric techniques.
- Coordinate with the Young Lives Senior Research Officer and other team members to deliver research outputs.
- Communicate complex information to expert and lay audiences, ensuring clarity and relevance.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in a quantitative social science discipline (e.g., economics, social statistics).
- Excellent analytical and statistical skills, including experience with advanced modelling techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and experience communicating complex information to diverse audiences.
Commitment and Benefits
