About the Project
This BBSRC‑funded project, led by Professor Justin Benesch, is part of a multidisciplinary effort between the Universities of Oxford, Liverpool and Cambridge. The aim is to revolutionise how proteins and their post‑translational modifications—especially phosphorylation—are identified and characterised. We are developing a novel platform to uncover the hidden dynamics of proteins in health and disease.
Your Role
As a postdoc you will be a core member of a dynamic team working at the intersection of computational biology, molecular biophysics and cutting‑edge analytical technologies. Your responsibilities will include developing and applying computational methods to study protein folding, structure and interactions, and contributing to experimental investigations of protein dynamics.
We’re Looking for Someone With:
- Expertise in gas‑phase molecular dynamics simulations
- Proficiency in scientific software development and high‑performance computing
- Experience in theoretical calculations
- Knowledge of native mass spectrometry and ion mobility spectrometry
