Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to Principal Investigator Professor Katherine Blundell.
  • Verify and process data streams from worldwide stations of the Global Jet Watch.
  • Conduct system-wide monitoring and development of data pipelines.
  • Actively participate in the spectroscopic and photometric research programmes.
  • Provide guidance to graduate and undergraduate students.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in physics or a closely related field (or close to completion).
  • Strong background in analysing time-series data.
  • Prior experience with spectroscopic and photometric data is an advantage.
