We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HR Data & Systems Assistant to support HR systems administration, payroll processes and people data reporting. This role combines HR administration, systems support, compliance and continuous improvement within a busy HR environment. The position is set to commence ASAP and will be part-time 20 hrs p/w for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay.

Key Duties

  • HR & Payroll Administration
    • Support payroll and pension administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing
    • Maintain employee records relating to attendance, leave and statutory entitlements
    • Respond to HR data requests and provide general administrative support
  • HR Systems Management
    • Maintain accurate employee and organisational data within HR systems
    • Support system upgrades, configuration changes and user access management
    • Liaise with IT teams and system providers to resolve technical issues
  • Data Management & Reporting
    • Produce HR reports and analytics to support decision-making
    • Analyse people data trends and support compliance and statutory reporting
    • Support improvements to HR systems and processes
    • Ensure compliance with GDPR, data protection and EDI standards
    • Keep up-to-date with HR systems developments and contribute to service improvement initiatives

Selection Criteria

  • Experience managing HR systems and employee data
  • Experience supporting payroll administration and understanding relevant legislation
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Good knowledge of GDPR and data governance principles
  • Advanced Excel and strong IT skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
