We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Outreach to lead marketing, communications and engagement activity across a portfolio of programmes and initiatives. This senior role focuses on raising profile, strengthening stakeholder engagement, managing communications strategy and delivering impactful outreach campaigns in an international environment. The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay.
Key Duties:- Develop and deliver marketing, communications and PR strategies to raise organisational profile and support strategic objectives.
- Lead communications plans supporting fundraising, programme delivery and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage communications staff, freelancers and external suppliers.
- Oversee content strategy across websites, blogs, newsletters, social media and digital channels.
- Advise senior leadership on communications, media engagement and presentations.
- Support planning and delivery of major events and outreach initiatives.
- Oversee creation of print and digital marketing materials, including videos, brochures and press releases.
- Monitor and evaluate communications performance, adapting strategies based on results.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and media partners.
- Manage communications budgets, special projects and external partnerships.
- Identify and coordinate press opportunities with communications teams.
- Significant experience in marketing and communications within complex or international environments.
- Proven experience developing and delivering multi-channel communications strategies.
- Strong media relations and press campaign experience.
- Excellent presentation, public speaking and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience leading teams and managing cross-organisational projects.
