Grants and Finance Officer – permanent post.
Overview
This role plays a crucial part in a small, friendly grants and finance team, ensuring an effective and efficient service is provided to the department during a period of growth. The focus lies on purchasing and post‑award grant administration, with flexibility to support resiliently across various tasks to build a career in university administration. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Lead purchasing and post‑award grant administration duties.
- Provide resilient support across the grants and finance team.
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in administrative processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build positive working relationships.
Qualifications
- Highly skilled administrator with attention to detail.
- Experience in grant or financial roles (or both).
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Capability to build positive working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
