Key Responsibilities:

  • The postholder will act as a key operational focal point for finance-related matters, working across the University of Oxford (as the host institution) and RLRH's collaborating partner institutions.
  • Coordinating closely with the ODID Finance team on financial processes, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • The role supports the coordination of financial information across multiple systems and organisations, ensuring accurate budget tracking, timely reporting, and adherence to relevant financial procedures and funder requirements.

Work Arrangement:

It is expected that the postholder will work from RLRH's headquarters office at the University of Oxford for an average of four days per week alongside RLRH and RSC colleagues.

Employment Details:

The position is offered full-time and fixed-term until 30 September 2028.

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will hold a degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration) or equivalent professional experience, with evidence of relevant financial training or interest in pursuing a professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  • They will also have experience in a finance or financial administration role, preferably within higher education, the charity sector, research, or another complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential for this role.
