The Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR) is one of Oxford’s largest and most internationally recognised departments, home to around 90 academic staff and a thriving community of researchers and visitors. About the Role

The Executive Officer will provide high-quality, responsive administrative and coordination support for the Oxford Leadership and Character Programme, contributing to the planning, delivery and continuous development of leadership education initiatives. You will support the planning, delivery and development of leadership programmes through effective administration and stakeholder coordination. The postholder will work collaboratively as part of the Oxford Character Project, which sits within the Programme for Global Leadership at Oxford’s Department of Politics and International Relations. In addition you will coordinate diaries, meetings, events, and travel arrangements while providing administrative support across the programme, as well as contribute to programme development, participant engagement, and continuous programme improvement.

About You

You will bring excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively, manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands. This position is full-time and fixed-term for 12 months. All enquiries will be treated in strict confidence and will not form part of the selection decision.
