At Kellogg College, our Events and Catering Bookings Office plays an important role in bringing the College community together, supporting a wide range of academic, social and external events throughout the year. Working closely with College staff, students, Fellows and external customers, the team delivers a professional, responsive and customer-focused service that underpins the day-to-day life of the College. We are seeking an organised, adaptable and service-focused Events, Bookings and Catering Officer to support the work of the Events Office. If you enjoy working with people, value teamwork, and thrive in a varied and fast-paced environment, we would be pleased to hear from you.

The role

  • Deal with enquiries via email, telephone and in person, redirecting where appropriate
  • Make arrangements for conferences, seminars and meetings
  • Provide event day management and support as required
  • Support all College events, liaising with teams across the college to ensure a smooth delivery
  • Manage and resolve any issues, complaints or conflicts whilst managing events, escalating as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience of organising events and associated administrative arrangements
  • Experience in the delivery of excellent customer focused event
  • Effective communication skills across a variety of methods
