We are seeking an experienced Events Officer to fill a key position in our Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE) Events Team at the University of Oxford. The Events Officer will support the Events Team in delivering a variety of events to engage donors and alumni with the University of Oxford. This role is Fixed Term (to 31 October 2027) and Part-time (0.6FTE – equivalent to 3 full days spread over 3–4 days per week)

About the Role
The Events Officer will support and manage events, including major donor visits, both large and intimate dinners, and signing ceremonies. These events will highlight the importance and impact of philanthropy, as well as to steward and cultivate relationships with donors and alumni.
You will have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a complex and demanding environment with a reputation for excellence. We are a tight-knit, supportive team that enjoys having fun while working hard on a variety of exciting and unique events. You need to have a cool head under pressure, be someone who can communicate at all levels and be a team player
