Saïd Business School, Park End Street, Oxford
Grade 5: £31,459 – £36,616 per annum including the Oxford University Weighting of £1,500 per annum
Permanent, full-time (36.5 hours per week)
The Entrepreneurship Centre at Saïd Business School is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Centre Administrator to support the operational excellence of a fast-paced, innovative department. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Centre at a time of ambitious growth and play a key role in delivering programmes and initiatives that support entrepreneurial pathways for Oxford Saïd and University of Oxford students and alumni.
As Centre Administrator, you will work across the Centre’s diverse portfolio of activities, from flagship events like the Oxford Saïd Entrepreneurship Forum to year-long programmes such as the Oxford Seed Fund. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries, assist in planning and running events (both online and in-person), provide administrative support to the team and maintain key systems including our CRM platform (Salesforce).
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for the Centre, providing outstanding customer service.
- Coordinate logistics for events and programmes, including booking spaces, arranging catering and managing attendee communications.
- Support live and virtual delivery of events by checking in participants, guiding attendees and moderating online platforms.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team, including diary management, meeting coordination and document preparation.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting using Salesforce.
You will be highly organised and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience managing administrative processes, prioritising tasks, and working to deadlines—both independently and within a team—is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, a customer-focused approach, a proactive attitude, and willingness to support various tasks are also required.
