Overview
This is a transformative time to join Oxford University Estates Services. Undergoing an exciting period of change, we are driving greater efficiency, digitalisation, and performance across our maintenance and asset management functions. As the Engineering Asset Manager, you will play a central role in shaping how we manage, maintain, and future-proof our estate. You\’ll lead a team of 4-6 people to deliver World Class Asset Management. You will oversee and drive the Asset Maintenance and Replacement strategy, ensuring our asset data, tagging, and systems are accurate and up to date. You\’ll ensure assets are compliant, optimally maintained, and aligned with operational performance goals. You\’ll champion a culture of proactive asset management and continuous improvement, helping Oxford deliver a safe, efficient, and sustainable estate that supports world-class teaching and research.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in asset management or maintenance (especially within estates)
- A relevant qualification or equivalent technical experience in engineering, maintenance, or building services.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with experience using CAFM and Asset Management Systems.
- Excellent line management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A forward-looking, compliant approach with knowledge of British safety standards, digital estates, and smart-building technologies.
