You will have completed, or be close to completing, a doctorate in a relevant subject. You will be able to demonstrate an aptitude for academic teaching and research, and the depth of knowledge of Hindi/Urdu literature or linguistics to develop course materials. You will have fluent or near- fluent command and linguistic knowledge of both spoken and literary Hindi and advanced reading command of Urdu.

You will bring an excellent record of team working, a publication record and familiarity with the existing research in the field, supported by a good standard of English.
