The Department of Social Policy and Intervention is seeking to appoint a full-time Departmental Lecturer in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation (EBSIPE). This is an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant research centre and contribute to the growth of teaching and research in the field of Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation.

The Departmental Lecturer will primarily be involved in teaching, supervision, and service on MSc and MPhil courses in EBSIPE. They may also undertake administrative roles such as co-leading the graduate admissions process, convening Social Intervention lectures and workshops, and participating in departmental committees.

The candidate will have the opportunity to lead or contribute to projects focused on policies or interventions for health, education, wellbeing, or other social welfare outcomes.

You should have experience teaching policy/intervention design, evaluation, or qualitative/mixed methods, with expertise related to social welfare outcomes. Responsibilities include supporting modules on qualitative methods, supervising students, and leading qualitative methods training. Candidates with experience in qualitative methodologies, especially for engaging under-represented populations, are encouraged to apply. Expertise in mental health, school interventions, digital tools, children's rights, ethics, or community involvement is desirable.
