Overview

Oxford Lifelong Learning is seeking to appoint a well-organized and highly competent administrator to join the busy Postgraduate Taught Student Administration team. The role will be responsible for supporting the administration of the MSt Practical Ethics course within the Department and will provide support for the student lifecycle from end to end, including dealing with admissions, on-course administration and handling post-course enquiries, such as requests for transcripts.

This is a full-time position, available on a permanent contract. Colleagues uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of the Department and actively promote a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administration support for the MSt Practical Ethics course within the Department, including managing admissions and on-course administration.
  • Handle student lifecycle tasks end-to-end, including dealing with post-course enquiries (e.g., transcript requests).
  • Support colleagues in a busy Postgraduate Taught Student Administration team and contribute to a collaborative working environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly to deadlines and to learn new IT systems quickly.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Competence in a range of standard IT applications.
